The song of the robin attracts attention, not only for its sweetness, but also because it indicates changes in the weather. When spring comes he sings for a short time, in what sounds like one note. His unchanging sound surprises and even confuses people who often listen to birds. Though the weather in summer may be stormy and rainy, he is sometimes seen on the roof of houses, or on the top of trees in the evening. You can hear his cheerful singing. In autumn his sound is serious yet still sweet, and in winter all you might hear are a few chirps.
