We’re totally stoked to announce our upcoming event! Next Saturday at City Park in Hawkton, we’ll be hosting our first-ever citywide skateboarding contest. This inaugural event will be totally rad, and everyone who’s anyone will be there. This won’t be just a half-pipe or two—this will be a full-fledged street setup. You’ll see loads of familiar faces as locals showcase the finest in street skateboarding: popping up on curbs, getting air off of benches, grinding on handrails, and jumping that eight-stair set near the laundromat. In addition, there will be gnarly vert action in the empty city pool. You won’t want to miss seeing the groms carving the bowl. There won’t be any posers at this show, that’s for sure! We will bring in several half-pipes with ramps for those that want to skate old-school. And, local and national skate shops will have both professionals and amateurs on hand giving demos on the market’s newest boards. These boards will have brand-spanking-new decks with the finest graphics and trucks that have the smoothest turning capability you’ve ever seen.

Do you have what it takes to compete? Can you ollie better than anyone else? Are your invert skills on fire? Is your kickflip out of this world? We want to see all your tricks. We don’t care if you’re goofy-foot (if you lead with your right foot on the deck) or regular foot. It’s OK if you bail—lots of people fall. We just want everyone to have a righteous time, so grab your boards and come on down! This first-time event is gonna be sick!
