How does having conflicting desires affect our happiness?

CONFLICTING DESIRES

If two desires conflict, that means that if one of them is satisfied, the other one can’t be, and vice versa. You can’t both go out with friends tonight and finish your paper that’s due tomorrow. If you want to do both, you have a pair of conflicting desires.

According to the desire theory, conflicting desires are a major impediment to happiness.

Yes, they are becuse one of the disires will be fuffiled and the othere will not and due to that ther will be sorrow due to both being not able to achive at the same time

Yes, they are because only one of them can be done and the other can't be done.
