Welcome to Khan Academy! We hope making content for us will be a fantastic rewarding experience. First things first, how do you get started?
Accessing our tools
To access our tools you first need an account on Khan. Contact you manager to see how you can get a Khan Academy email if that is the case. Once we have your email address, we can look up your account on our site, and update your permissions to allow you access to our different tools.
Types of access (permissions)
| Role | Description | |
|---|---|---|
| Creator | Creators can create and edit static questions, but not set them live | |
| Curator | Curators can add content and modify the entire topic tree but not publish changes | |
| Publisher | Publishers can add content, modify the entire topic tree and publish changes |

My access isn't working :(
Your permissions were updated, but you can't seem to access our tools! Please go through these steps before contacting KA for help.
- Check that you are logged into Khan. Your user name should be visible on the top right of your screen.
- Verify that you gave us the right email associated with your account. Did you use the quick gmail login to create an account instead of your work email?
- Try again using a Chrome browser
