Kamal’s Sick Day

Kamal was home sick from school when his best friend came over to visit.

“Hey! What are you doing here?” Kamal asked.

“I thought I would come by to see how you’re feeling. Your brother told me you were home sick”, Marlo said, looking worried.

“Yeah, I have a bad cold. What did I miss at school?”

“A science test. And Randall’s impression of Principal O’Brien—he’s pretty good! Even Principal O’Brien thinks so”, Marlo laughed.

“I have to see that when I get back to school. Thanks for coming. It made my day!” Kamal smiled.
