- The assembly-line techniques were net positive in my opinion. Leading to cheaper homes for buyers. It might negatively affect construction workers in that work could be done with less skilled laborers, but that improves the lot of the less skilled laborers. Wouldn't any technological process, be a negative to someone who was used to doing it a different way?(5 votes)
