- So Khan Academy has been successful creating content, and creating product around that content for awhile now. In fact, that's where a lot of our reach and usage has come from, but we've recognized if we really want to reach as many students as possible, if we really want to reach as many teachers as possible, we have to do outreach. We have to have programs that really empower the community, and the best example of that is LearnStorm. LearnStorm is, we've had personalized learning on Khan Academy for some time now, and in our admissions, but by doing LearnStorm, we're able to really engage with the community. We built out this ambassador program where these incredible teachers who are taking our mission, and taking it into their communities. We've been able to work with far more schools and districts in a formal way than we've ever have before, and in a lot of ways we've been able to get deeper personalized learning in more classrooms than we ever had before because it's happening as part of a challenge, or a celebration, and it's been neat because not only has it been about personalized learning and math, but it's been about mindset, you can learn anything. It's about growth mindset, grit, resilience, hustle, and as we develop LearnStorm, and it goes into more regions, and it goes nationally, and eventually internationally, it's the Khan Academy equivelent of marketing. You can have marketing where you put ads, or billboards, and all of that, and that's all fine, but the most powerful type of marketing is when the marketing itself has positive impact, when the marketing itself drives user engagement, and drives ownership. A lot of what I talked about in terms of the educator channel, and it being key that educators see that we are aligned with them, and that we are out there to help them, LearnStorm is kind of the vanguard of that. LearnStorm is how we show how Khan Academy can be used, how we integrate with the system, and classrooms, and empower teachers, and it isn't just a one way flow of information. I think all of us here through LearnStorm have learned a ton about how we can get better about serving the needs of teachers.
