So True. Mathematics helps us understand wonderful and ancient things, which only until now we could not understand. And that's the thing with math even if you don't know how to use it, it's still there from taking you to outer space to knowing how much sugar to put on your cake. If you take the time to learn the beautiful language of mathematics, you can begin to see the strange and mysterious language of life, and not just what is in front of you.

the delivery on this could be a lot better. Seeing a cute young girl smiling is nice and all, but like, there was zero effort put into providing the "why?".

Heck, pick one small problem where math was used and showcase it or something like that.... An engineer fixing an electrical problem? something...

What if our careers we want in the future don't require this type of math?❤️

To add to what the other commenter said, if you plan on going to college to achieve your ideal career, you will most likely have to take a math class of some kind, even if you are NOT studying a STEM subject. Business majors usually need to take calculus and psychology majors take statistics, which is a branch of mathematics. On the other hand, if you aren't going to college or trade school for your career, I still personally think having a decent understanding of algebra is good for everyone!

(upbeat music) - In order to get more creative, I would encourage young people to be not afraid of making mistakes. It's okay to fail while exploring a new trail of thought. Know that usually there is more than one solution to the problem. Math is as much about posing problems as problem solving. And at that point, creativity is noticing where there is something worthwhile investigating. - As a student in math, I think it's important to remember that math isn't just like random symbols on paper. Like math can mean something and it's pretty powerful that you as a student can build something that uses math. Creativity in math isn't just about being able to pluck numbers from the air and like, oh yes, I know the solution. It's about being able to use problems that help with your daily life.
