How do i score well in an essay

The easy answer is that you don't have to! Since June of 2021, the SAT essay is no longer a thing, as the College Board discontinued it. The SAT at the time of writing this only consists of the 4 multiple choice question sections. Before, to score well on the SAT essay, you had to demonstrate that you knew what the passage was talking about, techniques that the author used to strengthen their argument, and have good writing skills yourself when talking about it.

Is the SAT essay no longer such a thing? Will it be available again in the future?

The SAT essay was mostly discontinued in early 2021. It is only still given in certain states which require their students to take it in the school day SAT. If you’re taking it on a Saturday, you won’t be taking it. I’m not aware of any plans to bring it back soon.

So you are saying that essay is no longer a thing in SAT in every state of America. I'm talking about the SAt exam in Dec 2022.

  Yes, exactly. The SAT essay is no longer a thing that exists for you to take, and this is also true for the December 2022 exam. There's a post on the College Board website that explains the decision to remove the essay (which was previously optional) from the SAT, and goes more into depth.
