im taking the sat on march 12 2021 and my psat score was 1020. I want to get over 1500. My most recent practice test, I got a 1280. How can I improve? Ive been taking practice tests everyweek but my score still stays in the high 1100 and low 1200. Do I do the practice exercises or something? Can someone explain how I can improve my score?

Endless practice questions will get you to where you want to go, but not fast. After each test, try to spend a day just practicing on what you most need to work on according to your results from the last test. Try keeping a list of tips for you, or things to watch out for such as common grammatical mistakes, extremely worded answers, etc. Before each section, look at your relevant notes and tips and keep those in mind while you take the section. Reflection and focusing on improvement is way important when studying for the SAT, in addition to practicing lots. Above all, don't lose heart. You can do it!

If you aren't good in either of the subjects where do you start your practice from

Which is the best course of action since I have about 15 days left for my sat test

I would try and split your time evenly between practicing the reading & writing and the math sections since each of the subjects account for half of your total score. Try and do a little practice from both subjects every day you practice. I also found taking full practice tests very useful in preparing for the actual test. You can find Khan Academy's full tests by clicking on SAT, and then on "full tests". Whatever ways you choose to prepare, I know you'll do amazing! :D

The practice tests allow you to see how well you would do and gauge how far your practice has come, and also get you used to the format and duration of the test. Just doing practice questions endlessly won't get you accustomed to taking a test for 3 hours, and pacing yourself, maintaining momentum, not getting distracted by small mistakes, etc. For that reason, Khan Academy (and the College Board) provide full-length practice tests.

My overall PSAT score was 860, and I am going to be taking the SAT in April of 2022. I really want to Wayne State. Does anyone know what is score is required to get in now, and how can I get a 200+ jump to a final score?

From what I can tell, Wayne State does not have any specific SAT score cutoff. You can look up the name of a school followed by "prepscholar" to find some GPA and test score statistics for many schools. That website says that 50% of students admitted to Wayne State had SAT scores between 1110 and 1210.

To raise your score, you'll need to figure out what you are getting wrong and work to improve in those areas. Khan Academy can also help with articles, videos, practice, and a place to ask questions! :)

I take my SAT next summer but have been practicing for a while. I have an average level of 4 on reading and writing and an average level of 3 on math. I took a practice test recently and got a score of 1100. (470 on math and 630 on R&W) What should I be focusing on?

Since you have a fair amount of time before your SAT, I might recommend spending some time focusing on Math. Try to figure out what’s tripping you up: Do you need to (re-)learn the concepts? Should you work on time-management strategies? Something else?

Of course, you shouldn’t neglect reading and writing, either. I’ve even seen recommendations that people start with their easier subjects.

    1. Practice Test 4 and 2 are missing, why is that so?
I have not taken them, but I have done all other Practice Test.
    2. After taking all the full practice test is there a way for me to take more without having to reset my other tests' score?

How do I find the recommended dates to take practice tests leading up to my real test? I saw it when I first linked my college board account but have not been able to find it since.

Hi, My first practice test and second practice test is off by +200 points. Why so much difference between test 10 and test 09?
