Problem

An object containing a fingerprint is kept 1.8 cm from the objective (fo=1.4 cm) of a compound microscope. The fingerprint is observed to be magnified 30 times.
Find the magnification produced by the eyepiece lens alone.
Note:Report your answer correct to two significant figures.
