# Resources for developmental math instructors

If you’d like to incorporate Khan Academy into your developmental math program, we recommend taking the following steps.

# Select the best curriculum for your needs

If you want to cover an entire subject, such as Algebra II or Trigonometry, you can choose the corresponding mission.

**Download our guide to missions as a PDF: Missions: Focusing students on meaningful content (higher education version).**

If you want to focus on a smaller set of skills, or if you don’t see a mission that’s appropriate for your program, you may want to take the time to create a playlist. You can learn more about playlists here and download a sample playlist below for inspiration:

- Mapping of developmental math topics (docx) to Khan Academy content, created by the New England Board of Higher Education
- Jennifer Cornett of Lee University kindly shared her playlist for (developmental) intermediate algebra (xlsx).
- Lori Hodges of University of New Orleans generously offered her college algebra playlist (Google sheet).

# Explore the tools available to you as a coach

By creating a coach account and adding your students to your Khan Academy roster, you can access their progress information and better support their learning. This article provides a great introduction to our coach tools.

You may also find that some of our resources for K-12 math can be adapted to apply to your situation.
