Tailored tips for using KA with students
- Small set of devices
Students are in an environment where they have limited access to technology - i.e. a classroom, library, etc. - and not all students can use Khan Academy at the same time.
- Access to tech less than twice per week
All students can access technology simultaneously - i.e. computer lab, 'mobile cart' day - but the time available for KA is less than an hour per week.
- Class of mixed abilities
Students are able to devote at least two 30-minute sessions to KA per week and span a wide range of ability levels.
- Class that needs remediation
Students are able to devote at least two 30-minute sessions to KA per week and typically perform below grade-level.
- Class that is ahead
Students are able to devote at least two 30-minute sessions to KA per week and typically perform above grade-level.
- Non-math subjects
Beyond math, we house videos in a variety of subjects, from Art History to Cryptography to Biology. We also offer a student-friendly, interactive coding platform.
