- Does sun rotates and how much time does it take to do so and does it revolve also(6 votes)
- At its equator the sun rotates once every 27 days, while at its poles it rotates once every 31 days. This is due to the fact that it's a gas, so it rotates differently than solids.(6 votes)
- So increasing our abilities through technology, like increasing the visible range of the EM spectrum to include ranges traditionally outside of the normal range of human vision like x-rays or microwaves like these telescopes can, would that be "Techno-evolution"? Not the organism itself that is evolving, but it's abilities that are evolving and not through a change in genetics, but a change, or advance in technology. I've noticed many examples of where we are doing this very thing, but don't hear a lot of talk on the subject, Is this not really considered a type of evolution so much as "Advance"? Thanks, T.S.(3 votes)
- There is a sci fi show that calls what your talking about "Technolution", the show is Orphan Black.(1 vote)
- At, why was the center of the SOHO images blank? Was that done on purpose to prevent direct radiation from the sun overwhelming the telescope? 0:53(2 votes)
- That is because they put a disk on the telescope to block out the Sun so they can see the gases and particles that are released from the sun because without it the sun is so bright it blocks them all out.(1 vote)
- How does detecting sound, with the HMI @, enable us to tell what the magnetic fields are doing? 3:07(1 vote)
- What protection will the probe/telescope flying into the sun's corona need? @3:34(1 vote)
- isn't kepler space craft a strong telescop(0 votes)
