- Is it possible for life to exist through a different, non=water medium. Or perhaps be silicon based, rather than carbon?(27 votes)
- Typically "silicon life forms" refers to artificial computer based life forms... like Skynet. So technically we've kind of put silicon life forms onto Mars already... I mean, provided we have the robot uprising happen, and discover that Mars is entirely populated by robots.
In the case of other ways life can exist... well, we've not existed all the ways we can find life function on Earth, in low orbit and in high orbit. So we cannot really say for certain life cannot function on various places off Earth yet.(2 votes)
- Hey Everyone,
The person in the video states two possible sources of methane on mars (microbial activity and/or carbon dioxide interacting with water). What do you think??(6 votes) - Wouldn't biological organisms on mars require oxygen?(2 votes)
- Most organisms require oxygen to perform cellular respiration to release energy stored by digestion, photosynthesis, or chemosynthesis, but there are ways to release energy without using oxygen, like fermentation.(2 votes)
- Do you think that Google will do a Google Mars?(2 votes)
- How long do the rovers last until they lose power?(2 votes)
- it depends how much power is in the rover.(2 votes)
- How long has there been methane on mars(2 votes)
- Theoretically, it's been ages, ever since mars was formed(1 vote)
- does life currently exist on mars?(1 vote)
- Unfortunately, No. It would be a dream come true (for me at least) to see aliens on mars!(2 votes)
- is there possibely living matter in Mars through a chemical way?(2 votes)
- Cows do this too, therefore contributing methane gas into the atmosphere, a LOT of methane gas. LOL(1 vote)
- What is Methane made of?(1 vote)
