So I was sitting here watching theses and I was wondering... Why are planets round?

The bigger an object is the more gravity it has. An extremly large object (like Mars or Earth) has enough gravity to pull itself into a sphere. A smaller object (like Mars' moons or most asteroids) do not have enough gravity to do so. That is why they are all odd and lumpy.

What is the music on the video? Is it written just for this video? (It reminds me a bit of the awesome "O Fortuna" from "Carmina Burana by Carl Orff!)

The European Space Agency (ESA) site listing for this video says "Music: B. Lynne." B. Lynne is Bjorn Lynne who is, according to Wikipedia, a Norwegian sound engineer and music composer. A Google search for "Bjorn Lynne" will yield tons of information -- his web site, many youtube videos, etc.

How do you keep a satellite running for such long times?

Well, usually they launch the satellite, then the satellite orbits the Earth because of the magnetic pull, then when it needs repairs, it gets sent back down to Earth, gets fixed, and sent back up into space where the cycle begins again.

Are there earthquakes on Mars? Are they equal to that of Earth's?

They probably did. They think it still does, due to the pit chains on Mars.

If there used to be liquid water on mars, wouldn't mars used to be warmer? For all I know that would mean mars would have been closer to the sun. Could there be a different reason?

Mars likely had a thicker atmosphere with a more substantial greenhouse effect back then.

what happens if the satellites brake down?

If they BRAKE down that means they would be slowing down, right? But if they BREAK down, which is what you probably meant, then we would not be able to obtain data from them anymore. If possible, they would need to be repaired.

how is there no water on mars now? (if there ever was).

Because of the lack of proper heat from the Sun, the water slowly started freezing up because of the dropping temperature levels. Now, it is completely frozen.

When was the Mars express launched?

Mars Express was launched on June 2, 2003 at 17:45 UT.

About how much does a satillite cost -roughly-

The cheapest satellites can cost about $10,000, but it would cost $70 million or more to send a satellite to Mars. A Mars lander would cost somewhere between $300 million and $3 billion.
