- Set up your experiment: Tools, materials, and assembly
- What’s going on: Creating carbon dioxide gas that diffuses into liquid
- Challenge: Can you prove that diffusion happens both ways?

Challenge: Can you prove that diffusion happens both ways?
Now that you understand how to do this experiment and what's going on, can you figure out a way to reverse the process (from the liquid back into the atmosphere)?

- So, how would someone go about proving that diffusion happens both ways?(3 votes)
- By looking at the earth's water cycle, I think so. Tell me if I'm right :) Is diffusion the same as evaporation I don't know ..
But diffusion doesn't happen both ways , I think so :) , for example in plants there are things like semi-permeable membranes which allow only one type of molecule to pass through it..(1 vote)
- Can we do the same experiment with the actual ocean water instead.(1 vote)
- If you have ocean water around, try it and see what results you get. :)(1 vote)
