Placing absolute values on the number line

In this math lesson, we learn to sort values from least to greatest using a number line. We practice with negative numbers, positive numbers, and absolute values. By plotting these values on the number line, we can easily identify their order and improve our understanding of number relationships.

a physics video(I am 6th grade)= 9 minute video
a math video(6th grade) = 2 or 1 minute video
Why is it so? Can anyone answer me?
(BTW) I know that this is out of context, and I maybe dumb, but I am just curious)
• I think that for the math videos Sal is working through math problems to show a concept and that doesn't take very long, whereas the physics videos are explaining ideas. I'm just guessing, but I hope that helps. :)

• where in PEMDAS is absolute value?
• Absolute value is in the grouping step of order of operations, equivalent to parentheses.

I prefer to use G E MD AS for order of operations.

• why did sal put the first number (-27) in the positive side of the number line but left the other negative numbers on the negative line? Something is super sus about this. don't know what is right or wrong.
