Why the collection of best batsmen in cricket could not be a set??

If we take that question from our own perspective i.e., I think the best batsman would be the one who stays on the pitch for long and scores run in the continuum, and I see only few batsmen in cricket, would now that be a set??

The collection of best batsmen in the world is a set. In fact, you can think of all the batsmen in the world as a super set (lets us call it 'all-batsmen') , and the collection of best batsmen in the world (let us call it 'best-batsmen') as the subset of the set 'all-batsmen'. You can also consider 'all-batsmen' to be a subset of 'all-cricket-players', and 'all-cricket-players' as a subset of 'human-beings' which in turn is a subset of 'all-mammals' and so on.
