• Can someone give me a vote?
• I gave you your 12th vote. I did an UPVOTE because ur profile is cute & I like that Q.
• i'm confused i can't understand if i'm counting the whole or only the tick marks
• Lindsay had a ten column bar and coloured 1/10(0.1)
Then she divide it again and it became 1/100(0.01)

I might not make much sense but here is a vidio that might help you Understand better:Intro to decimals grade 4.
In this vidio it mentions why you have to divide with decimals and it also mentions the place value of decimals.

Hope this helps
• wouldn't the end number be 0.01 to be hundredths
• Hola peeps hope y'all are having a great day :)
• yes what is the difference between 0.1 and 0.01
• .1 = 1/10 ( One tenth)
.01 = 1/100 (One hundredth)

.1 is 10 times greater than .01, and .01 is worth 1/10 the value of .1.
• Is there a such thing as a 00.01?? is there is what does it stand for?
• italics
Someone told me it is a tenth as well is that ture?? 😴
• i dont understand
