• what if the it was 25 fence post and 20 post would it be the same or diffrent
• The separate "fences post numbers'" would be different, but when you add them up to find the total posts the farmer used, it would be the same.

25 + 20 = 45
26 + 19 = 45
• what is the highest namber do you know?
• You'll probably never see this but there isn't a "highest number". The highest number is really infinite. This means that no matter how far we go, it will never ever be the highest.

• john has 15 cats his parents gave him 10 more how many more cats does he have in all?
• We can write this as 15 + 10 = ? As with all addition, just add each place value together individually. 5 + 0 = 5, and 1 + 1 = 2. We can put these together and say that 15 + 10 = 25!
