• When you see high digits (such as 7,8,9), look for a trick! The number 598 is just 2 less than 600.

482 x 600 = 482 x 6 x 100 = 289,200.

482 x 2 = 964.

So 482 x 598 = 289,200 - 964 = 288,236.

Have a blessed, wonderful day!
• What 5x10+10 is is 50 or 60
• 5 x 10 is 50 so plus 10 is 60
• ok I don't know what you mean but, that's doing the same THING! just more completedcated.
• so would this question be right? 50x4=200?
• Yes, you're right.
Here are my steps, broken down:
50 ×4
5×10 ×4
Here you can switch the order of the numbers due to the commutative property:
5×4×10
We know 5×4=20, so 5×4 ×10 = 200.
• how are u doing today
• how can we find out that 90 x 5 or 9 x 5?
• Here is a way to find out: 90 + 90 + 90 + 90 + 90 =450 9 x 5 = 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9= 45
• isnt 90 times 5 the same as adding 90 5 times?
