Allison Leedie

Partnerships Lead, Khan Academy Kids

Allison Leedie has spent her career helping children fall in love with reading. She began her career in the classroom as an elementary teacher, where she discovered the magic of watching a child unlock a book for the first time. That experience led her to become a literacy specialist and coach, supporting other teachers in giving students the strong foundation they need as readers. With a master’s in Language and Literacy from Harvard, Allison now leads School Partnerships at Khan Academy Kids. The best part of her job is sharing joyful, accessible resources that help every child grow into a confident, curious reader for life.

Isabel Andrade

Product Manager, Khan Academy Kids

Isabel Andrade is a Principal Product Manager on the Khan Academy Kids team. She started her career as an elementary school teacher at a public school in her hometown of Quito, Ecuador. A 2025 Forbes "30 Under 30 in Education" honeree, Isa leads the development of a playful and nimble pre-K assessment platform that provides families and educators with information on students’ progress. This product is funded by the Gates Foundation with support from MDRC. She holds a Master’s in Education and an MBA from Stanford University.

Through generous support from the Gates Foundation, publicly funded Pre-K programs can access Khan Academy Kids for Schools—including these new assessments—at no cost for the next two school years. This program typically costs $5 per student, so this is a meaningful opportunity to explore a new approach with very little risk.To be eligible, your program must be US-based and serve a minimum of 200 students in Pre-K through 2nd grade. We integrate directly with Clever for easy rostering.
