By signing in and joining Khan Labs, you'll help us develop transformative learning tools like Khanmigo. Your feedback is crucial in shaping the future of education.
Step 2: Make a donation
Khan Academy is a nonprofit. We depend on donations to operate. We need your support to help us develop this and other online educational resources. If you want to test Khanmigo, you will be asked to donate $20 monthly (or more if you like!) once you are selected from the waitlist. This is an evolving project and the donation amount may change after June 15.
Step 3: Receive an email confirmation
You’ll receive an email with next steps if you meet the Khanmigo testing requirements (ages 18 or older in the United States). If a donation is not possible now, subscribe to our Khan Labs newsletter for news about AI and future testing opportunities!

Frequently asked questions
What's the time commitment for being a Khanmigo tester?
We are excited to start testing with you. There is no specific requirement for the amount of time you spend testing Khanmigo. You are welcome to test it as often or as little as you’d like while you are enrolled. During the testing period, we will be sending you emails that ask for your feedback, but responding to those emails is completely optional.
How soon will I know if I got accepted to test Khanmigo? Can I check on my waitlist status?
We will be opening up seats for Khanmigo in a controlled environment to ensure there is enough capacity to handle the usage. We will send you an email as soon as you are accepted. Once you join the waitlist, you can come back to this page to check your status. Note: you will need to be logged in to see your status.
How do I sign up my children to test Khanmigo?
We are thrilled you want to have your children test Khanmigo. Sign up for the waitlist, and once selected, you'll have the option to enable Khanmigo access for your children.
Why aren’t you releasing Khanmigo to the public?
During this pilot phase, we are looking for valuable user feedback from people like you to help us shape Khanmigo before a public release.
Why is there a waitlist to test Khanmigo?

Are people who donate the only ones who can test Khanmigo?
No. We have a pilot program where we are inviting approximately 1,000 teachers, students, and school district administrators to test and provide feedback. We understand a donation might not be possible for everyone. We encourage you to subscribe to the Khan Labs newsletter.
How will I find out about new features to test?
