I think migration is easier because the industrial revolution (one of the biggest examples of globalization) provided ways to travel that you couldn't access before, and it became exceedingly easier just to go where you wanted instead of waiting for a long journey on a steamship or by a coach. Keep in mind that when you watch the video, it is a good idea to write down any vocab you read or hear that is unfamiliar to you.
