- Whey does the timeline have those stair step/bends in it?(2 votes)
- I think it's like your looking at the stairs from a bird's eye view. There are stairs because it is a metaphor. 13.7 billion years ago is the farthest away because you always start with the bottom or base then you work your way up. It's kinda like a many layered cake. You start with the bottom layer and then you keep building up, you know.(3 votes)

- Is there any way to determine the location of the big bang by the direction the galaxies are traveling, plane of rotation of the galaxies, etc.?(0 votes)
- The Big Bang didn't occur in a location, because spacetime did not exist yet.(2 votes)
