Is the smarthistory books enough to prepare for the AP art history exam on 2024?

smarthistory books mainly touches on the 250 artworks required for the ap exam. i don't think that by that alone it's enough to prepare but it is a big chunk

How should I divide my work up for the whole school year in studying this AP Art History course?

If you are self studying though, I say to start early so you don't end up cramming everything because this is a test that is basically memorization.

Is there a website where I can take a mock multiple choice of AP Art History? I want to see where I'm at in the subject

What do the italicized works of art mean?

It means that the artist themselves named their own piece. It was not given a name.

How many hours do this course take?

When you're studying history in the khan academy. The khan academy history class at least 10/15 minutes. Just the one topic.

What qualifications did these pieces of art have to meet in order to be considered worthy of becoming a required AP Art History artwork?
