why are borders good for good neighbors?

Borders help keep the peace between neighbors and provide privacy for them. Also for good neighbors, borders help keep out unwanted intruders from coming into their home.

This is a weird question and is somewhat more related to grammar. How is "neighbor" and "neighbour" different?

"Neighbor" and "neighbour" aren't very different. "Neighbor" is predominately used in the US, while "Neighbour" is predominantly used in British English. Other then that, "Neighbor" and "Neighbour" are practically the same things.

Try this in a geographical sense. When there's a weak border between two countries, one of them is likely to invade the other or try at least. This will eventually destroy the relationships between them. In contrast, when there's a strong border the countries will stay close to each other as "neighbours" and help each other in many ways.
