From seeing a variety of both teachers and students use Khan Academy, we’ve learned that no one strategy fits all: Different teachers in different settings use Khan Academy in different ways to help their students meet their learning goals. Below are a few common models that we have seen math teachers use depending on their students' needs and the resources they have available.

Small set of devices
Students are in an environment where they have limited access to technology  i.e. a classroom, library, etc.  and not all students can use Khan Academy at the same time.

Access to tech less than twice per week
All students can access technology simultaneously  i.e. computer lab, 'mobile cart' day  but the time available for KA is less than an hour per week.

Class of mixed abilities
Students are able to devote at least two 30minute sessions to KA per week and span a wide range of ability levels.

Class that needs remediation
Students are able to devote at least two 30minute sessions to KA per week and typically perform below gradelevel.

Class that is ahead
Students are able to devote at least two 30minute sessions to KA per week and typically perform above gradelevel.

Nonmath subjects
Beyond math, we house videos in a variety of subjects, from Art History to Cryptography to Biology. We also offer a studentfriendly, interactive coding platform.
