Hey Elijah, I have also experienced this glitch. Try pausing the program by pressing the pause button at the bottom left corner.

I set spring length and springs per hair to max, then set hairs to max. Dampening to zero, stiffness to zero. I then waited for everything to calm down, set stiffness to max, and _*BOOM*_!

do that and set stiffniess to 0

What is the perfect percentage for damping?

I guess it does depend of what you're working on
