- @ 824 he says we are at an "inflection point" but I'm not familiar with that phrase. Can someone explain that differently? Thanks, T.S.(11 votes)
- Easy definition in my words:
1. A point of a curve at which a change in the direction of curvature occurs.
2. (In business) a time of significant change in a situation; a turning point.(16 votes)

- I love Sal and he is one of my mentors! However, in the last months I'm thinking about what is his view on the specific problems of environment (oceans, forests, soil), climate change and earth biodiversity that we are now starting to confront. It's a fact, I think no one can argue about that. Athe says "money not as a superficial scoreboard of success but a command over resources to make the world a better place.", and I totally agree with the principle, but I'm unsure about the methods and who will be the privileged - only us, human beings, or all our biodiversity. I really want to know what are Sal's thoughts about this topic. I searched but couldn't find any information on the web about his view on this. (sorry for my english, I'm a 24 year old portuguese guy from Lisbon) 14:56(3 votes)

- I particularly love the speech Sal gave here. It is not all about Khan Academy but something more. I love the way he encouraged me to think big and put myself as an individual in a larger world, a longer history.(2 votes)

- When I hear and deeply listen to this, I want to create a school according to these values. Thank-you. Who out there wants to create such a school? And now in Canada? and now in BC? Anyone?(1 vote)
- I would agree to that, because I was once one of those children who struggled in all my classes. Thanks to Khan Academy I no longer struggle , so I would like to share this advantage with other children who struggle like I did. Thanks Khan Academy.(2 votes)
