- There are hundreds and hundreds of colleges that could have been used in the videos. It would be impossibly long and boring to have them all. Instead, there are representative colleges and universities shown here, including public and private, East coast and West coast. So, Harvard would be similar to Yale and Stanford in terms of selectivity, but things that were said about applying and receiving financial aid were not about these specific schools that were represented, but instead were about all these types of schools. Even if the person who was talking was from Yale, you can apply what was said to any other selective school, and also, to just about any other college or university. You can be confident that the processes of applying and choosing would be very similar.
For more information about Harvard in particular, guess what! You can google Harvard undergraduate application and find just about all the same stuff that you saw here, with the exception that Harvard will show up as the name!(6 votes)
- This journey was very informative. What I would like to know is if we can extend the series to include topics relating to selecting, applying and paying for Graduate School? I am aware that there are Graduate Assistant, Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant type of jobs on most University campuses. Perhaps there could be some discussion of that here? And of course the many other questions that come from an interest in Graduate Education.(3 votes)
