Before beginning, make sure that you:
- Are using the the latest version of Firefox (you need to be using at least version 2.0.0.1).
- Have your math fonts installed:
- On a PC, you can install the fonts by clicking here and following the directions.
- On a Mac, you need to:
- Click here to download an archive of the fonts (you can save it to your desktop).
- Open the MathFonts.zip file (you can click "open" in the Firefox "download" window or double-click on the zip file).
- A folder called "MathFonts" should appear on your desktop.
- Open the "MathFonts" folder.
- Double-click on every file (all 7) and click "install fonts" when prompted.
- If you are the administrator and want every user of the computer to have access to the fonts, you can skip steps 4-5 and should
copy or move the "MathFonts" folder to "/system/library/fonts".
It might say that "The item 'MathFonts' could not be moved because 'Fonts' cannot be modified" in which case you should click on
"authenticate" and type in the adminstrator password.
- Are super-motivated to learn math faster and better than ever before!
