How can I share my story of using Khan Academy in the classroom?
We want to hear from you! Please send us your story and read other testimonials here.
How do parents factor into all of this?
We encourage you to get your students’ parents involved! This article has a sample presentation about KA that you can give at Parents’ Night, printable handouts, and how-to guides.
This virtual workshop is great and all, but I want to attend an in-person workshop. How do I do that?
Unfortunately we are a very small team, and currently we deliver in-person workshops on a sporadic basis. If we have a workshop coming up, we often advertise it on our Facebook page. Hopefully we’ll visit your area soon, but in the meantime, we’ve tried our best to provide all of our workshop content in this virtual workshop.
Can I use these virtual resources to run my own workshop?
Absolutely! Check out this article for tips and downloadable resources. If you’re interested in a shorter, more introductory presentation of Khan Academy, we also have sample guides and presentations.
I’m interested in hosting a Khan Academy workshop in my region. How do I do that?
Since we’re such a small team, we typically only deliver workshops when we know we can reach at least 100-250 math teachers in order to justify our time out of the office. We often partner with regional foundations who can help find facilities and cover the costs of a large teacher training. If you’re interested in hosting a large workshop and have the resources to do so, let us know. Otherwise, we encourage you to use and share this virtual workshop.
